Francoise Arnoul aka Cyborg 003 was created by Shotaro Ishinomori for the comic "Cyborg 009" in 1964.
In the story, she was one of the members "00 Number Cyborg". All of "00 Number Cyborg" were kidnapped by the evil Black Ghost organization to undergo human experiments which resulted in nine cyborgs with each one having super human powers. They escaped from the evil organization, and band together to fight for their freedom and to stop Black Ghost.
Francoise Arnoul aka Cyborg 003 is the only female member of "00 Number Cyborg".
Her cyborg modifications were in her sight and hearing. Her role is reconnaissance, morale and nursing Ivan Whisky aka Cyborg 001. Sometimes she was directing the battle under Dr. Issac Gillmore's guidance or protecting Ivan Whisky aka Cyborg 001 in the battle scene.
