The illustration was inspired from one of the still photos for the movie "Meoto Zenzai : Marital Relations" 1955 directed by Shiro Toyoda with staring Chikage Awashima acted as Choko and Hisaya Morishige acted as Ryukichi based on the novel "Meoto Zenzai : Marital Relations" 1940 written by Sakunosuke Oda published on the magazine "Kaifu : The Wind On The Sea".
The words "Flock Together Yes They Do, Yes!" are taken from the lyrics of the song "Birds Of A Feather" lyrics and composed by Carole Pope and Kevan Staples for the album "Read My Lips" 1978 by Tim Curry.
The song "Birds Of A Feather" was self covered by Rough Trade (Carole Pope and Kevan Staples belonged to) for the album "The Best Of Rough Trade" 1978.
