James Tiptree, Jr. aka Alice Bradley Sheldon was a Science Fiction Author. Before I knew about her some works and read them, I knew her life and her death. Her life and her death made me having an interest in her works.
I wonder her life and her death were just as "Love Is The Plan The Plan Is Death" or "The Only Neat Thing To Do" in the titles of her novels.
The novel "Love Is The Plan The Plan Is Death" was published in the anthology "The Alien Condition" 1973 edited by Stephen Goldin by Ballantine Books. The novel won "Nebula Award For Best Short Story" 1973 .
The novel "The Only Neat Thing To Do" was published in the magazine "The Magazine Of Fantasy & Science Fiction" 1985 and contained on the book "The Starry Rift" 1986 by Tor Books. In 1986, the novel was nominated "Nebula Award For Best Novella" and "Hugo Award For Best Novella".

On 2011, the play "Xenophilia" was performed. The play was based on the lives and works of James Tiptree, Jr. and Connie Converse and the play was made up of James Tiptree, Jr.'s short stories with Connie Converse's songs.
the play was arranged and choreographed by Maia Ramnath, produced by the aerial dance and theater troupe Constellation Moving Company and performed at The Theater For the New City.
