Sometimes, they thought Clara Bow as being the model for Betty Boop, but she was created as a caricature of Helen Kane.
In 1932, Helen Kane filed a infringement lawsuit against Max Fleischer and Paramount Publix Corporation for exploiting her personality and image. (In 1934, She lost her suit case.)

When Betty Boop made a cameo appearance in the movie "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" 1988 directed by Robert Zemeckis, Mae Questel acted as her voice.

The words "Cause No One Understands" is taken from the lyrics from the song "Take Me Away" from the album "Under My Skin" 2004 by Avril Lavigne.
Betty Boop has the theme song for her "Don't Take My Boop-Oop-A-Doop Away", of which the first appearance is in the cartoon "Boop-Oop-a-Doop" 1932.
But, I wonder her real intention is not "Don't Take My Boop-Oop-A-Doop Away" but "Take Me Away".
