Youki Mizuhara was created for the comic “Yakyu-kyoh No Uta : Poetry Of Baseball Enthusiasts” 1972 - 1976 by Shinji Mizushima.
Firstly, this comic was the short stories of the baseball players in the Tokyo Mets, fictional professional baseball team. Afterwards, on this comic she appeared for the pitcher of the Tokyo Mets and became the heroine.
On 1977, the story about Youki Mizuhara was adapted for the live-action movie “Yakyu-kyoh No Uta : Poetry Of Baseball Enthusiasts” directed by Akira Kato. Youki Mizuhara acted by Midori Kinouchi.
On 1978, the comic “Yakyu-kyoh No Uta : Poetry Of Baseball Enthusiasts” was adapted as TV anime “Yakyu-kyoh No Uta : Poetry Of Baseball Enthusiasts”.
On 1985, the story about Youki Mizuhara was adapted for the live-action TV drama “Yakyu-kyoh No Uta : Poetry Of Baseball Enthusiasts”. Youki Mizuhara acted by Yuki Saito.
