拙稿の主題は表題として掲げた語句の1文字、"たいせん (Taisen)" とはなにか、と謂う事である。

拙稿を綴るにあたって、ああでもないこうでもないとしていたら、ラスコーリニコフ症候群 (The Raskolnikov Syndrome) と謂う語句に遭遇する。
その小説の主人公、ラスコーリニコフ (Rodion Romanovitch Raskolnikov) から命名したモノだと謂う。 ある現象やある症例を語るに、虚構の人物名を充てる事自体を問題視する訳ではないが、それとは逆、その虚構の人物こそがその現象や症例に該当するのだと看做すのはどうなのかなぁ、いやだなぁと思う。 と、謂うのは、その症候群がそのままその人物なのだとしたら、彼が登場するその小説の理解は著しく片面的なモノとなってしまう様に思われるからだ。 仮にもしもそうであるのならば、その小説にソフィヤ・セミョーノヴナ・マルメラードワ (Sofya Semyonovna Marmeladova) と謂う少女の存在は必要なのだろうか、とぼくは思うのである。 read a continuance of : "つみとばつがあらわしているもの"
