と、謂う物語の存在は中学3年生 (Junior High School Third Grade) の時に知った。国語の教科書 (Japanese Textbook) に掲載されていたのである。
しかしながら、それは島崎藤村 (Toson Shimazaki) の小説『夜明け前  (Before The Dawn)』 [1929～1935年発表] ではない。それを翻案した戯曲『夜明け前 (Before The Dawn)』 [脚色：村山知義 (Tomoyoshi Murayama) 演出：久保栄 (Sakae Kubo) 1935年 新協劇団 (Shinkyo Theater) 於：築地小劇場 (Tsukiji Mini Theater) 初演] なのである。しかも全文ではない。その1部が抜粋されているだけなのだ。read a continuance of : "よあけまえ"

同名異曲 (The Same Name But Different Songs) が幾つもある様なのだが、拙稿で取り上げるのは岡林信康 (Nobuyasu Okabayashi) の楽曲である。
1968年、彼のデヴュー・シングル『山谷ブルース (Sanya Blues)』B面曲として発表されて、後に彼のデヴュー・アルバム『わたしを断罪せよ (Behead Me)  』 [1969年発表] に収録された楽曲『友よ (Dear Friend)』である。ここで綴るのは、そんな事実関係から離れた、この楽曲とぼく自身との遭遇について、である。 read a continuance of : "ともよ"
